I’m not your typical Accounting Professional

AND THAT’S THE POINT

Before I worked with numbers, I worked with people—as a Registered Massage Therapist. I loved the one-on-one connection, the care, and the sense of helping someone walk away feeling better than when they arrived. But after a colleague was in a serious accident, I knew I needed a career that didn’t rely on my physical ability to keep going. I had a newborn at home and a decision to make.

So I chose a different kind of care work—one rooted in clarity, trust, and long-term support.

Accounting might seem like a left turn, but for me, it made perfect sense. I’ve always been drawn to systems, to problem solving, and to the feeling of helping someone breathe easier. Now, instead of easing muscle tension, I help ease financial stress—and the relief my clients feel is just as real.

What Makes My Approach Different

Before I became a bookkeeper, I owned and operated my own business. I know what it’s like to wonder if you’re doing things right, to avoid your books out of fear or uncertainty, and to feel overwhelmed by the responsibility of trying to “do it all.”

  • I speak your language, not accounting jargon

  • I understand the emotional weight of money and the pressure of entrepreneurship

  • I believe support should be practical, compassionate, and judgment-free

I also bring deep technical experience

Over the last 10+ years, I’ve worked extensively with cloud-based accounting software—learning the nuances, problem-solving with clients, and helping catch small issues before they turn into expensive mistakes.

Online accounting isn’t just about keeping up—it’s about catching the small issues before they become expensive problems.

WHY I BEcame a coach, too

After years of working with small business owners , I started to notice something: even clients with strong businesses often struggled with the same challenges—uncertainty, avoidance, fear of getting it wrong. Their roadblocks weren’t just about the numbers.

That’s why I pursued my coaching certification. I wanted to support my clients in a deeper, more authentic way. Coaching lets me bring mindset, clarity, and decision-making into the conversation—so you’re not just managing your money, you’re leading your business.
